It had been awhile since I had updated my site with new work - so I did it today.  I also added a gallery for the virtual collage things I have been playing with lately.  If you want to see more of those, I post art almost daily on Instagram at hnelsontbg.  Also, this marks the second month of my show in Port Hadlock WA.  If you want to see a large amount of my work (58 pieces hung) you should make a field trip to the Old Alcohol Plant before September 30.  They have asked me to do an art talk and I probably will - will provide the date later

I am having another show at the Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery in Bellevue WA. It is a 2 person show with another local artist, Mark Skullerud. The show opens on April 13 and runs through May 7. I just discovered that the website people (thanks, Geoff and Rochelle) added a full screen capability which makes it much more enjoyable to view the pieces on my site. All you have to do is click a second time on an image and the image should become much larger and usually fill the screen. It makes it much easier to see the details in most of my pieces. My paper collage "BEDHEAD SELF PORTRAIT" has been juried into the 2015 CVG Show at the Collective Visions Gallery in Bremerton WA. The show opens on January 24 and runs through February 28, 2015.

I had one piece accepted into the juried "Art Convergence" show at Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. The show runs from November 13 to January 9, 2015.

I had two pieces juried into the "Small Expressions 13" show at Northwind Arts Center. The show will run from December 5 to December 29 at Northwinds new location on Water Street in Port Townsend.
